Product People Meet
🥳 First up: Huge thanks for everyone who came to the first IRL Product People Meet Event. You helped make it an absolute blast!
The event was an effort to bring Product Designers, PMs, Founders, Engineers, and anyone else working in product together. With a live DJ, Mediterranean bites, a little wine, and a ton of genuine connections all around, I would say this was a successful event!
🌮 Next event is a dinner format: specifically tacos in Wynwood. I’m also working out details for additional locations. Reserve your spot for Wynwood here.

GIAD™ Apparel Giveaway!
🤩 Beyond excited to announce an incredible giveaway to God is a Designer™ apparel.
A little background: The GIAD™ Apparel Project was created in 2008 by Angel Acevedo. He was inspired by aesthetics that combine retro-futurism, technology and creation. It portrays what he describes as a rhythm between English and Modern Japanese (Kanji).
I first saw this Miami-based brand repped by Alberto’s Orsini on his YouTube channel (If you aren’t subscribed, here ya go). The hoodie also found a place on my Essential Gift Guide for Designers, an ever-evolving list.
So, as a huge fan, I cannot believe I’m writing this:

👩💻 The FLUX Yeah Slack has a channel called #portfolios. Those brave enough can share their completed or in-progress design portfolios with FLUX yeah members to get feedback.
